Peer to Peer Coaching Program
Peer to Peer Coaching Program (P2P) is a cohort-style blended learning program that includes live webinars, videos, and a webpage. It was also a program that needed a visual rebrand to an identity that aligned better with its central messaging.
01 Project Brief
“Coaching is more than mentoring, teaching, or facilitating-it’s about empowering others to achieve their best through a supportive and collaborative approach.”
02 Ideation
During our initial meetings about this project, the words “transforming” and “growth” came up often. From there my thoughts evolved into one question: What if we likened coaching to gardening? Fostering plant growth takes certain tools to encourage, just as coaching takes a set of skills/tools to accomplish well. Coaches are hands on with a coachee, but it is still up to the coachee to grow just as there is only so much a gardener can do before it's up to the seedling to germinate.
03 Visual Identity
Taking that gardening metaphor, I came up with a brand system that is both whimsical, but restrained enough for a corporate setting. By utilizing softer sage colors and rich browns, those taking the webinar are greeted with a calming learning atmosphere. Font choices were made to be inline with the Dow font standard. The logo showcases an individual cradling a seedling in their hands, tying it back into the gardening metaphor. That seedling imagery was then translated into a graphic mark that is used across all brand applications, oftentimes living in corners where they treat the observant viewer to a small visual treat.
04 Applications
Webinar Presentations
The Peer to Peer program is delivered through several webinar sessions and utilizes PowerPoint presentations to help teach the content. I created a slide master template that features the Peer to Peer branding system and then laid out the provided learning content within it.
Written content and learning concepts were provided by project owner. All visuals and layouts were created by me.
SharePoint Webpage
The Peer to Peer Coaching webpage acts as an anchor point for anyone interested or currently enrolled in the webinar series. Not only does it describe in detail what the learner should expect from the program, but also provides a quick link to all the resources they might need before, during, or after attending the webinars.
Written content and resources were all provided by my collaborator. Visuals and layout were all created by me.
Video Series
Created in Camtasia, this 5-video series set out to reinforce the concepts discussed throughout the workshop program. Most included example scenarios of how to conduct yourself as a coach as well as tips for how to grow the coach and coachee relationship. Below are two of the videos in the series for viewing.
Script, general storyboard concepts, and audio recording were all provided by colleague. Audio editing, visuals, and animations were all created by me.
