CAPA

01 Project Brief

CAPA is a work process that is used for the documentation of root cause investigations as well as the management and completion of corrective and preventive actions. To introduce and reinforce this work process, an eLearning course series was created as well as an awareness video and a supplemental guide. All content/copy was provided by my collaborator. My role was to bring her ideas to life and create visuals that supported the content.

02 Ideation

CAPA did not have a set graphic look within Dow before this project. During the creation of the awareness video, I came up with the intersecting oval shapes and pulled the slate blue and sage colors from the Dow color palette. As each part of the project was tackled, this visual identity grew and evolved, especially during the creation of the Articulate learning courses where it had to be applied to interactive elements and activities. These courses were also translated into 7 different languages.

03 Deliverables

Informational Video

Meant to spread awareness about the purpose of the CAPA work process, this video was created using the program Camtasia. Script was provided by the project owner as well as the audio recording. From the script, I used stock footage, images, and self-created graphics to convey the messages of the video.

Script and voiceover was provided by project owner. All visuals and layouts were created by me.

eLearning Courses

Crafted in Articulate Storyline 360, these 9 courses feature several interactive experiences as well as storytelling animations to help learners understand the importance and function of CAPA.

Learning content and copy was all provided by colleague. All visuals, animations, and interactive activities were created by me.

Online Tool Resource

The EAT/CPA tool is an essential part of the CAPA work process and was in need of a easily navigable online resource for quick reference. This document features an interactive table of contents as well as step-by-step instructions, all tied together with the CAPA branding.

Written content was provided by project owner. All visuals and layouts were created by me.
